I took a moment from sewing and drawing and dye'ing (yes with ties!) to let you three people know that we are having a t shirt party near the end of this month, we have a date but it isnt for sure for sure... so i cant devuldge yet.
On Wednesday Sept. 10th the empire had a premiere of its first ever short film. entitled "Have you ever dated a guy before?" we are pleased with the final product and will be adding it to the webernet very soon.

As you may or may not know, the empire recently created a visual accompaniment to the song "Excellent Steel Horse" by Toronto band Rock Plaza Central. That video has now been released online by spin.com! wonderful news for the empire and a great starting point for a great video. you can find the article here.
For those of you who are wondering if we are even a shirt company still... keep in mind that we have short attention spans and the sport of chinlone has landed in our hearts. Fear not, we still keep a large section of that organ for our shirts, and we are happy to announce a "100 shirt party!" stay tuned for more info, but expect bands, fun, shirts, and good times.

I know if you are penis-less you will be very excited in personal areas to hear this next bit, We will have proper girl's shirts! yes thats right, no more awkward h.e. shirts if you have a set of baby-feeders, these new shirts will ever so lovingly support your beauties and the colors will be swell!
Today we have some new things for you... up in the mess, there are at least 1 photo for every rider on the skate team... and all but mikey has a video coinciding! There are also a couple of videos h.e. shot of bands, and the music video h.e. made for Rock Plaza Central.

So it has officially begun... Humble Empire has launched... with our first run being 36 shirts, we hope it to be our smallest of runs. A great warm thanks goes out to everyone who visited 276 crawford, on Saturday for our humble launch party. True to the name the party was relaxed, mellow, and all in all a good time for a company of this caliber(or lack there of). I want to extend a big hug to everyone who purchased a shirt that night! If you are interested in a shirt, we have plenty left from the first run, and next week we will begin work on our second official run.

If you are on Facebook, and Richard Tandor's friend, then you may or may not know about the h.e. Launch Party we are having on the 13th of October. it will be at our house, 276 Crawford. Come if you're in the area!! it should be grand, and shirts will be available.
So when I was in Windsor, for a weekend... It wasn't because I'm crazy, sure, one could argue that very successfully. Why would one go to Windsor anyways, I mean, its your hometown Kyle, yes. But still!! this place is desolate to say the least. The funny thing about Windsor is that, on occasion, without warning... something great will happen. At times like these the orgiastic state of consumerism and manufacturing begin to erode before your very eyes, and the beautiful under-lying fabric that we, as skateboarders, created. Becomes the truth, the end, the only reason. We remember why we started skating in the first place. Because we needed a way out of Windsor. Be it physically or mentally, no matter where we are, even while in Windsor, If we get on that board... we can seperate ourselves from the beast of the "Motor-City's" retarded Canadian Cousin... The "City of Roses."

T SHIRTS!!! last night after I spent some hours with the lovely Sarah Castle, and after recieving two new games for the fancy white box attached to my television that emits light, and reacts to my fingers gestures on a wire-free control pad... stimulating my happiness nodes in my body controller (brain). MJ turned to me and said "Kyle, T shirts... we gotta" I say "ye, we do" so.... we will, whats different from any other time I said that we would? Mike and I now live together, so, hope to see you in a h.e. shirt soon!
